About Kaylin

I am 18 years old and currently looking for summer babysitting/nanny job before I move to Florida in August to pursue my passion for helping others by attending nursing school. In addition to my professional childcare experience, I have also helped care for my younger sister, who is now 9 years old, giving me years of experience assisting with daily routines, supervision, and age-appropriate activities. I have extensive hands-on childcare experience through working as a nanny for a child from the age of 6 months until she turned 2 years old. As a homeschool student, I had the flexibility to dedicate my weekdays to providing consistent, attentive care while creating a safe, nurturing environment that supported her growth and development. My responsibilities included preparing meals and bottles, changing diapers, maintaining nap schedules, organizing educational and age-appropriate activities, and supporting important developmental milestones such as speech, motor skills, and social interaction. I also assisted with light housekeeping related to the child, including cleaning play areas, washing bottles, and organizing toys and supplies. Through both my nannying experience and helping care for my younger sister, I developed strong patience, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Caring for children has taught me the importance of reliability, attentiveness, and creating a positive environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and supported. These experiences have strengthened my passion for caring for others and have helped prepare me for my future career in nursing.
