About Mellany

Hello! My names mellany, I am currently a student at Florida State University, majoring in Speech-Language Pathology. This field focuses on working with children of all abilities, including those with autism, communication challenges, and verbal delays. Through my studies and experience, I have become very comfortable working with children in all types of settings and capacities. I have worked with children since the age of 13, in both professional and casual settings. I started with babysitting for families and then moved on to seasonal jobs working for the Miami Parks and Recreation summer camp to after school programs for two years. From then on, I did overnight sitting, and eventually, I ended up working in a private tennis club over breaks, the last 4 summers in PinecrestMiami, organizing and playing with the kids in an all-sports camp.
