About K’mari

My name is K’mari, and caring for children has always been my passion. I find much joy in supporting children as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, encouraged, and understood, I strive to create that kind of nurturing environment in every setting I’m in. I have worked with students of varying ages, developmental levels, and abilities. With experience as a preschool teacher, elementary school paraprofessional, and special needs aide, I have developed a strong foundation in child development, positive behavior support, and individualized care. I am attentive to each child’s unique personality, interests, and needs. I also have intermediate Spanish skills, which allows me to communicate with and support bilingual families when needed. I value building strong, trusting relationships with children and parents, and I believe open communication and consistency are key to quality care. Beyond childcare, I am passionate about supporting families and strengthening the community. I believe in the saying, “The youth is our future,” and my goal is to help nurture confident, kind, and capable young people through compassionate care and meaningful engagement. Whether helping with daily routines, creative play, homework support, or providing dependable care parents can trust, I bring professionalism and a genuine love for working with children into every opportunity.
