Hi! My name is Tahlia, and I’m 18 years old. I recently graduated from Huntington Beach High School and will be attending a local college this fall. I have always loved working with children, and every job I’ve had has involved caring for kids and helping them learn and grow. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve spent years helping care for my younger brothers and sisters, so babysitting has always been a natural part of my life. In addition to my family experience, I’ve babysat for three wonderful families over the years. One family trusted me as their sitter for four consecutive years. As their children have gotten older and started school, they haven’t needed me as often, but I’m so grateful for the relationships we built. I also worked as a swim instructor, teaching children from 4 months to 12 years old. Working with kids in the water taught me how to stay calm, communicate clearly, and make learning fun while always keeping safety the priority. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids, whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, or just keeping them entertained while making sure they feel comfortable.
