About Sydney

Hi! I'm Sydney Downs, a second year Cal Poly student and registered EMT. I've coached children's gymnastics and been registered with Safesport since I was 14, and have nannied two families in my hometown with ages 16 months to 13 years old for the last 3 years! I have experience with overnights, travel, and entertaining all day without screens. I'm happy to provide references and sitting agendas, and have a large SUV if the kiddos need to get anywhere. I love everything about kids and helping to grow them into independent, strong, and caring people. Through my coursework, involving many Child Development courses, I've learned so much about how to best help each age group, and am a strong believer in positive reinforcement, giving choices, hands-on play, and outdoor time. I'm currently studying to become a pediatrician, and can't be more excited to meet you!
