Hello! My name is Quynh and I would love to help babysit. I am comfortable with all pets and have my own transportation. I have recently cared for a 7 month old and 4 yo simultaneously so I am comfortable with multitasking. When taking care of a 9.5 month old, i helped start him on solids as well! We started crawling/walking practice too. I have put all the children I've taken care of down for naps or bedtime, ranging from infants to 12 yo and up to 6 kids at a time. I rocked said 9.5 month old baby for several hours to get him to go to bed when he wasn't feeling it. When caring for a 2.5 yo, we did a lot of imaginative play and arts and crafts! We practiced skills like cleaning up and I threw in asking about colors/numbers whenever I could to still make it fun. We also worked on potty training and made sure to wash our hands after. I am confident I can help assist you with household chores as well if you need it during downtime, and I can care for your child in the way you prefer once shown. When working as a behavioral health specialist, I had to manage 6 kids with behavioral needs on a set schedule, running group therapy, meal times, bedtimes, and more. I also assisted with homework help when needed. I attended UCI for a double in genetics and psychology before I decided to pivot to nursing. Whatever preferences and rules you have I am happy to follow to a T, the safety of your child is the most important thing. I am very good at communication and find that it is better to over than under communicate. If anything were to occur you would receive a text immediately and throughout the time I am watching your child I would send updates or write a detailed note so you know exactly what transpired. I have worked as a mothers helper too, and I fill in with whatever is needed, whether that’s feeding/ changing baby, laundry, dishes etc. I am CPR, BLS, and CPI certified. I am able to meet energy needs in whatever capacity, being calm and patient or excited. Ty!
