Hi! My name is MJ, and I’d love the opportunity to care for your little ones! I have been babysitting since high school, primarily caring for children ranging from 6 months to 8 years old, though I’m happy to work with older children as well. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences and am CPR certified. Professionally, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provide one-on-one support to children with autism by helping them build communication, social, play, and daily living skills in a fun, patient, and encouraging environment. This role has strengthened my ability to meet each child where they are, stay calm under pressure, and create a safe, positive space where kids can thrive. I’m also passionate about supporting children beyond my career. I’ve volunteered at a grief camp for children, a camp for children with serious illnesses, and in pediatric settings at the hospital, experiences that have deepened my compassion and reinforced how important it is for every child to feel seen, supported, and cared for. Whether we’re doing crafts, playing outside, reading books, helping with homework, or simply keeping a familiar routine, my goal is always to make your child feel comfortable while giving you peace of mind. I’m also happy to offer tutoring or homework help when needed. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your child with someone else, and I strive to care for every child with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would want for my own family.
