About Kayla
I have experience caring for children in both childcare and one-on-one settings. I currently work at Rams Kidz Village at CSU, where I work with children and help provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I have also worked at Mountain Kids Summer Camp, where I supervised children, led activities, and kept them engaged throughout the day. In addition, I currently babysit a 2-year-old, which has given me experience with routines, meals, play, and providing one-on-one care. I also volunteer with Poudre School District as a peer mentor, supporting and building relationships with youth. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED trained and have a Youth Suicide Prevention certification. I am studying Social Work with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies, and I hope to become a juvenile defense attorney and advocate for children.
