I’ve been a nanny for 3 years now. The experience I’ve had with nannying has been with 12 weeks - 18 months. I’ve done two nanny shares in my 3 years of experience. I follow sleep schedules, wake windows, and assist with sleep training. I work hands on with infants and toddlers on developmental milestones and emotional regulation. I’m very hands on with the children I care for. I clean up after the children, whether that be dishes, toys, and children’s laundry, and when the appropriate age approaches, I teach them how to pick up and put away toys etc. I follow parental guidelines per family’s rules. I prefer to be able to take the child(ren) out the home for fresh air, socializing, and activities as this is important for the child’s growth. My main goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children I care for. It’s my priority to be their safe place while they’re under my care. Seeing their little minds grow and being a part of that is one of the most rewarding jobs out there. Showing children kindness, patience, stability, and warmth on the good and bad days is non negotiable for me. Back in 2017/2018 I lived with my best friend whose husband tragically passed to help her out with their daughter, while I was also a teacher’s aide for 5th grade and worked the after school program for 2nd grade. I’m 30 and have babysat since I was about 13 years old.
