Hi my name is Jada V and I love and admire working with kids, especially since working with kids can be challenging depending on the child, now a days kids just want to be around their parents ONLY & that’s okay and I say this from a personal experience because when I was younger, I did not like sitters, I wanted my mom all the time. Some kids may not always like seeing new faces but I don’t mind because with the help of working at daycares, seeing kids cry for their parents, I got used to it. Working at summer camps and doing multiple kid activities. Kids became my passion and my inspiration, they are the reason why I keep going in life so I can show the new generation that you can do anything if you put your mind and actions to it! I have experience with working with 1 - 11 year olds and honestly wouldn’t mind working with teenagers (Again I’m down for a challenge!) I love to sing, dance, play sports (basketball) and I love to paint. I was an art teacher assistant for two years at inquiry charter high school. My main priority is making sure the kids stay engaged, active and just excited to be at school, or home! My POV with kids is to make sure that they have fun anywhere they GO ….for example if a child is bored at homes.. I would ask to to do karaoke with them, build a lego set, make paper planes, paint, make slime or build a house fortress with blankets and pillows, (something creative) to show the kids that you can be creative and have fun anywhere!!! I love kids, I like when kids think outside the box and I love to challenge them to use their brain to brainstorm ideas that we can do. I would love to draw with them, write with them or just sit in the silence with them if they may not feel comfortable with socializing for that day. So if we have to sit and stare at a wall together i’m okay with that too. I love my chill days and fun days.. but i’m also her to meet the kids where they are at mentally so they can know they are not alone! Hopefully with this job, I can show my skills, my compassion, my creativity and most importantly my love for kids.
