About Fernanda

Hi! I’m Fernanda! I’m the oldest of two siblings, with my youngest sibling being 5 years old. I’ve always genuinely loved working with kids and really value the time I get to spend with them. I love getting to know their personalities, learning from them, and being someone they feel comfortable and safe around. One of my favorite parts of working with children is building meaningful bonds with them and watching their confidence and personalities grow. I recently left my job as a Center Aide, which was honestly a bummer because I truly loved working there. I was there for about a year and gained a lot of hands on experience working with children of different personalities and needs. Unfortunately, I had to leave because my school schedule changed, but my experience there only made me realize how much I enjoy working with kids and how meaningful it is to me. Being the oldest sibling has also given me plenty of experience caring for and spending time with younger children. I’m patient, caring, and genuinely enjoy being involved in their day to day lives whether that’s playing with them, helping them learn something new, reading with them, or simply being there to listen and make them feel valued.
