About Destiny

Hi! My name is Destiny, and I’m a college student and student-athlete who has a genuine passion for caring for and supporting children. I come from a big family with lots of siblings, which has given me plenty of experience being around children and understanding how important patience, responsibility, and communication are. For the past three years, I’ve had the joy of caring for children ages 0–11, including children ages 1–3, 4–5, and 6–11. I’m comfortable caring for up to four children and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment through games, puzzles, crafts, outdoor activities, and sports. I’m also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, swimming supervision, and carpooling. My background as a Certified Nursing Assistant has taught me to be compassionate, attentive, responsible, and calm under pressure. I also have First Aid and CPR training, which allows me to feel prepared to handle unexpected situations while keeping children safe. I believe clear and respectful communication with parents is very important, and I’m happy to provide daily updates through your preferred method. I’m also comfortable following and enforcing household rules with patience and consistency. My goal is to make sure every child feels safe, cared for, comfortable, and able to have fun while in my care. I’m excited to bring my energy, experience, and dedication to your family and build a trusting relationship with both you and your children!
