Hi! My name is De’Ja Johnson, and I’m a college student pursuing a degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Maternal and Child Health. I have a genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel safe in a positive environment. I have experience caring for children of different ages and backgrounds, including children with disabilities and learning differences. I’ve worked in educational and childcare settings, including a summer literacy program, where I supervised children, led activities, supported learning, encouraged positive behavior, and ensured each child was safe and engaged throughout the day. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs. As a babysitter, I enjoy creating fun, age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, games, and educational activities while maintaining a structured and safe environment.
