About Brooklyn

Hi! My name is Brooklyn, and I have over 5 years of babysitting experience caring for children of all different ages. I also grew up with two younger brothers and was very involved in caring for them from the time they were babies—from changing diapers and giving baths to taking them on walks, playing at the park, and everything in between! Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for children of all ages, including infants and toddlers. One of my favorite things about babysitting is getting to know each child’s personality, making them laugh, and creating an environment where they feel safe to play, learn, and be themselves. I love reading with kids, doing crafts, playing outside, going to the park, playing with their favorite toys, or finding activities based on what they enjoy. I genuinely enjoy all ages, but I especially love the toddler stage because they’re so curious, silly, and fun! I’m currently attending Hartnell College while pursuing nursing and working toward earning my CNA license. My long-term goal is to work in pediatric psychiatric nursing, so working with children is especially meaningful to me. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I have reliable transportation and am comfortable driving children to and from school, activities, practices, or outings as needed. I’m also happy to help with meals and snacks, homework, bedtime routines, and household chores! Most importantly, I want parents to feel confident that their children are with someone who is responsible, attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them.
