About Ava

Hi! My name is Ava, and I’m a student at Tulane University studying psychology on the pre-med track. I’ve always loved working with kids and have been babysitting and working with children for years. Throughout high school, I babysat for different families, worked as a camp counselor, and also worked at a daycare. More recently, I volunteered with an art integration program for kids, which was such a fun way to stay involved with children in a creative setting. This past summer, I worked as a senior caregiver, which gave me even more hands-on experience with patience, responsibility, and caring for others. I also volunteer in hospice care, and I’m CPR and First Aid certified for both adults and pediatrics. I’m responsible, patient, and caring, and I really enjoy getting to know the kids I babysit and finding things we can have fun doing together. I’m excited to get back into babysitting and would love to find some great families to work with!
