About Autumn

Hello! My name is Autumn, and I’m 22 years old. I have several years of paid childcare experience, along with additional experience caring for children through my family. I’ve always had a passion for working with children. When my nieces were born, I started helping care for them at 14 years old, which inspired me to take Early Childhood Education classes in high school. After graduating high school, I began working with the school bus department as a bus monitor in August 2022. I worked there for about 3½ years, primarily supporting children with special needs. As a bus monitor, I was responsible for helping maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the children while they traveled to and from school. This experience taught me a lot about patience, safety, communication, behavior management, and understanding that every child may have different needs. In May 2025, I began working at a daycare, where I currently work as a preschool teacher. In my role, I help care for and supervise children throughout the day while providing age-appropriate activities that support their learning and development. I have experience planning and leading activities, assisting with meals and daily routines, helping with nap time, supporting children with social and emotional skills, redirecting challenging behaviors, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and keeping children safe while they play and learn. I’m also comfortable independently supervising a classroom of children. My regular work schedule is Monday–Friday from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM, so I’m available for babysitting after work and on weekends. I’m also willing to work later in the evenings when needed. I’m a patient, caring, responsible, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys working with children. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident in the person caring for their children and I would love the opportunity to provide a safe and caring environment for your little ones!
