Hi! My name is Ana, and I’m a 20-year-old college student studying Biology with the goal of pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant. I’m a caring, patient, responsible, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys working with children and helping families. I have about 3–3½ years of babysitting experience and have cared for children ranging from newborns to 12 years old. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with three different families, which has given me experience caring for children of different ages, personalities, routines, and needs. I understand that every child and family is different, and I always do my best to follow each family’s routine while creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for their kiddos. In addition to babysitting, I have caregiving experience working as a companion for an individual with Alzheimer’s. This experience has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to care for others with compassion. I also have experience volunteering in a hospital setting and have my BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, which includes training in CPR and emergency response. Safety is always one of my biggest priorities when caring for children. When babysitting, I’m happy to help with playtime, homework, preparing simple meals and snacks, bedtime routines, and other age-appropriate activities. I’m also happy to help wherever I can to make things a little easier for parents. Most importantly, I want families to feel comfortable knowing their children are with someone who is attentive, trustworthy, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. I’ve loved getting to know the families and kiddos I’ve worked with over the years, and I would be more than happy to help and become a trusted sitter for another family!
