About Mirian

Hi! My name is Mirian, and I’m an experienced and caring childcare provider who is relocating from Washington, DC to Oklahoma. I’m currently looking for a part-time or full-time babysitting or childcare position with a family that is looking for a dependable, nurturing, and responsible caregiver. I have a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, along with a certification in Early Childhood Education. I also have two years of professional experience as a daycare teacher, where I worked with children of all ages, including infants through 4-year-olds. During the summer, I also cared for school-age children and planned age-appropriate activities to keep them engaged, safe, and having fun. In addition to my professional childcare experience, I have 6 years of babysitting experience. I truly enjoy working with children and creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment where they can learn, play, and feel comfortable. I’m comfortable caring for children of different ages and needs, and I’m happy to help with activities, meals, routines, playtime, and keeping children on their schedules. My education and hands-on experience have given me a strong understanding of child development and the importance of providing attentive, age-appropriate care.
