About Tessa

Hi! I’m Tessa, and caring for children has been a part of my life for over a decade. I’m currently in graduate school studying Speech-Language Pathology, and my background as a dance teacher and longtime babysitter has given me a deep appreciation for how kids learn, grow, and express themselves. Working with children brings me so much joy. I love creating fun, engaging, and developmentally supportive activities that encourage imagination and communication. Whether we are dancing, crafting, playing outside, or exploring new learning games, I aim to make every moment meaningful and full of laughter. Through my studies and experience with clients in schools, I have developed a strong understanding of child development and communication needs. I am comfortable and experienced working with children who have speech, language, or developmental challenges, including those on the autism spectrum. My graduate training has given me direct instruction and hands-on experience supporting children with diverse abilities.
