About Alyssa

Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I’m an education major with a genuine passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. I have several years of childcare experience caring for children of different ages and backgrounds. I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 and have experience caring for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and older kids. Through my childcare experience, I’ve learned how to create a safe, fun, and dependable environment while also adapting to each child’s individual needs and personality. I enjoy planning age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, playing games, getting outside, and encouraging children to explore their interests. As an education major, working with children is especially meaningful to me because I hope to build a career where I can make a positive difference in their lives. I bring patience, responsibility, creativity, and a caring attitude to every family I work with. My goal is for both children and parents to feel comfortable, safe, and confident while they’re in my care.
