I am 22 years old and the eldest of seven siblings. As the first grandchild and first daughter, I have had hands on experience caring for children from a young age. I started babysitting my cousins for $300 a month, which I proudly used to help pay for my back to school expenses. I recently returned to New York City from Colorado and am currently taking a break from school. While in college, I worked as a Head Start Teacher Aide, caring for children ranging from infants to kindergarten age. I also worked as a swim instructor, beginning with parent and baby classes and progressing to teaching Group 10 swimmers. I am CPR certified, an excellent cook, and I also offer light housekeeping and tutoring services. I prefer to keep screen time to a minimum because I believe children benefit most from being active and engaged. I enjoy taking kids to the park, reading together, doing educational and creative activities, and finding fun ways to keep them learning and exploring throughout the day. I am dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. Also yes my name is Sophie, but I prefer to go by Soso thank you for your time!
