About Jessica

Nurturing young minds is my passion and I have dedicated the last 13 years to creating safe, nurturing, and enriching experiences for children. I hold my college degree in Early Childhood Education with my Director's Certificate. I have worked in a childcare setting and a babysitting environment with the wide range of children from 0 to 11 years old. Even though I enjoy working with children of all ages, infant care is my passion 🩷. For the last 9 years, I have held the title of Infant Nursery Supervisor which did require extra training and schooling. I enjoy learning about each child as an individual and learning to connect with them on their routines, likes/dislikes, and their learning style/timing/level. I am patient, love to be silly/laugh, and build a trusting relationship not only with the child but with the family as well. I love to create experiences through activities either inside or outside, experiences that are on the cleaner side or the messier side, and experiences that are going to create a lasting memory/wanting to do it again. I am looking for a family that is okay with my 3.5 year old daughter tagging along. I am comfortable with caring for children in the comfort of your home or of my home. My daughter has been in a childcare setting since 10 weeks old and understands that when there are other children around, that "mommy is at work and other children's needs do need to be met". She loves playing with children her age, helping with children younger than her, and learning so much from children who are older than her. She is polite, loves to help in any fashion, and is completely potty trained. I'd love to help out with household cleaning and errands. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. I am also experienced with children with allergies, medications, and epi-pens.
