About Hermela

I genuinely love being around children and creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where they can feel comfortable being themselves. I’ve cared for children of different ages through babysitting/ nannying , helping care for my younger siblings, working with children in my church community, and providing one-on-one support for a child with autism. I’m patient, attentive, and very hands-on. I enjoy playing, reading, doing activities, helping with meals and routines, and simply being someone a child can feel safe and comfortable with. I believe children deserve patience, kindness, and encouragement, and I always try to make sure they feel heard and cared for. I also understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with the person caring for their children. I’m dependable, communicative, and respectful of each family’s routines and parenting style. My goal is for both the children and their parents to feel that they’re in good hands.
