About Jovana

Hiii! My name is Jovana and I’m 23 year old UCLA graduate student native to Los Angeles. I’ve spent over 3 years working with kids which has taught me so many lessons I still carry. The best way to describe me is passionate, patient, and hardworking. I bring a little bit of everything to the table having spent time as a tutor, afterschool teacher, summer counselor, most relevantly, the eldest sister of 5 . I love having fun as much as I love learning. I live for watching kids get excited about figuring things out. I’m great at meeting them where they're at. I connect easily with people and try to make others feel heard. I also lead with empathy during moments of distress. Cooking and baking are one of my biggest passions. I appreciate making food for/with others, especially a treat for the little ones. I’m a super active person and you can usually catch me running around, playing, and dancing. In my personal life I’m apart of a hiking group so, I love an opportunity to be outdoors. I pride myself in being incredibly communicative and organized. Problem solving is one of my strengths and I can easily come up with creative solutions under pressure. Overall, I’m a dedicated caregiver with a love of all things whimsical.
