I’ve had Dayana babysit many times now and she has been wonderful with my 10-year-old son. He can be quite difficult at times, especially with routines and bedtime, but she handles him beautifully. Last night was a perfect example. When it was bedtime, he pushed back (her words) and announced he was going to stay up until I got home. Instead of arguing or getting flustered, she calmly reminded him that I’d be home late and let him sit in the living room for a bit. No power struggle, no drama. About 10 minutes later, he came to her on his own and asked if she would put him to bed. That kind of calm, respectful approach is exactly what works with my son, and she just gets it. She’s patient, kind, and clearly experienced. I feel completely at ease leaving my children with her and will definitely be booking her again.
