About Emma

I have babysat for several families, including caring for a 2-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy occasionally throughout 2023, as well as a 4-year-old boy consistently for about a year in 2019. Most of my babysitting responsibilities have included preparing meals and snacks, supervising playtime, and engaging activities. From 2017 to 2022, I volunteered with The Friendship Circle of Washington on Mercer Island, where I worked with children with special needs. This past year I worked at Friendship Circle and facilitated social and recreational activities for children and teens with special needs, providing supervision and individualized support to promote safety, inclusion, and positive interactions. This past year I also worked as a Youth Group Advisor Mentor and would supervise high school students in grades 8-12 by fostering community through educational, social, and programming while guiding the teen leadership board. In 2024, I volunteered at Montague Elementary School, where I would engage with students during recess and help create a positive, inclusive space for play and social interaction.
