About Alani

Nurturing children and witnessing their growth is what I love most. For the past three years, I’ve had the joy of caring for children of all ages, from newborns to pre-teens. I’m comfortable caring for up to three children at a time and strive to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where every child feels supported, encouraged, and free to thrive. I have experience working with children with ADHD and autism, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting to each child’s unique needs. Building strong, trusting relationships with the children I care for is one of my greatest priorities. I’m currently attending college with the goal of becoming a pediatric surgeon because I’ve always been passionate about caring for children and making a meaningful difference in their lives. That same passion carries over into my work as a nanny. I’m full of energy and love spending time outdoors with my kiddos, whether we’re playing sports, exploring parks, creating fun games, or simply enjoying fresh air together. I also enjoy educational activities that encourage creativity, learning, and confidence. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, travel, light household tasks related to the children, and swimming supervision. I am First Aid and CPR certified and very comfortable enforcing household rules with kindness and consistency. You can expect regular updates on your child’s day through texts, phone calls, and conversations at pickup. I’m friendly, approachable, dependable, and a little goofy! My goal is to become someone your children are excited to spend time with while giving parents complete peace of mind knowing their little ones are safe, happy, and genuinely cared for.
