About Kayana

Hi! My name is Kayana, and I have a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies. I am also currently in online school for my masters in social work ! I have several years of experience working with children in preschool, daycare, after-school, and babysitting settings. I currently work as a preschool teacher with children ages 3–4 and have also worked closely with toddlers and elementary-aged children. I truly enjoy creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I’m patient, dependable, organized, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I enjoy arts and crafts, educational activities, outdoor play, music, and finding creative ways to keep children engaged. I also understand how important communication is with families, and I always strive to make parents feel confident that their children are safe and well cared for.
