Hi! My name is Lauren, and I’m a caring, responsible, and energetic babysitter with many years of experience working with children of different ages. I’ve been around and caring for children for most of my life, starting with helping care for my younger siblings and later gaining experience in daycare, after-school programs, tutoring, and babysitting. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids and love creating an environment where they feel comfortable, safe, heard, and excited to be themselves. I have experience caring for children from infants and toddlers through elementary school, and I’m especially comfortable with kindergarten through elementary-aged children. I’m also happy to work with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I understand that every child is different, so I try to learn what makes each child comfortable and what works best for their family rather than assuming one approach works for everyone. One of my favorite things about working with kids is getting to know their personalities. I’m naturally playful and outgoing, but I’m also patient and understanding. I love doing activities with children instead of simply supervising them. Depending on their age and interests, that could mean playing outside, doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing games, helping with homework, building something, having a dance party, or coming up with creative activities together. I’m always happy to put the phone away and be fully present with the children I’m caring for. I also understand that babysitting isn’t just about keeping kids entertained. Safety, communication, routines, and responsibility are extremely important. I take parents’ instructions seriously and want families to feel confident that their children are being well cared for while they’re away.
