Hello! My name is Tykisha, and I have over 20 years of experience working with children. I currently work as a Montessori teacher assistant and am studying Elementary and Special Education at Grand Canyon University. Supporting children’s growth, independence, and confidence is something I truly love. My background includes mentoring youth, working in special education settings, and experience as an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician). These experiences have helped me develop patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to support children with different learning styles and behavioral needs. I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and structured environment for children. Whether we are reading stories, playing games, doing creative activities, or working on homework, I focus on helping children feel supported and engaged. Families describe me as dependable, nurturing, and attentive. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable leaving their children in someone’s care, and I always strive to provide a positive and trustworthy experience.
