About Deshia
Hi! I've been babysitting for over 10 years and have worked as a full-time nanny for the past 3 years. I've also worked in the nursery at a local church alongside a summer camp program. I come from a big family, so I've always been around children. I have a lot of younger siblings and cousins who are 10+ years younger than me, so taking care of kids has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I'd describe myself as easygoing, reliable, and patient. I love getting to know each child's personality and making sure they feel comfortable while we're together. Whether we're playing outside, doing crafts, reading books, helping with homework, or just hanging out, I always try to make sure they're having fun while staying safe. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your child, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. I'm happy to help with meals, bedtime routines, and cleaning up after the kids if needed. I also have experience caring for children with Type 1 diabetes and am comfortable following their care routine and monitoring their needs.
