About Alana

As the oldest of four siblings, I've spent most of my life helping care for children. My youngest sibling is now one year old, so I've had plenty of recent experience with babies, as well as older kids. I've helped with everything from feeding, diaper changes, and nap time to homework, playtime, bedtime routines, and keeping everyone entertained and safe. I'm currently studying Special Elementary Education, so working with children is something I'm truly passionate about. I also work with the SAISD Foundation's Book Buddies program, where I help encourage a love of reading by bringing books directly to elementary school students. I love building connections with kids, being creative, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for. I'm patient, dependable, and understand how important it is for parents to know their children are in good hands.
