Hi friends! My name is Jessica, but I go by Bre! I've been a Nanny off and on for over a decade and have had the pleasure of working with some amazing families! Now that I'm a Mama myself, I'm looking for a full time position that would allow me to bring my 9-month-old son to work with me. I'm also a full time student, finishing my bachelor's and beginning an accelerated master's program this year! I absolutely love working with babies and toddlers and that has been the majority of my experience, though I've worked with kids of all ages. I'm deeply passionate about childcare and being a calm, nurturing presence in the lives of little ones. Many of the kids I've worked with still call me "Aunt Bre" and seeing them grow up has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I believe that one of the greatest qualities a childcare provider can bring to the table is a calm nervous system and that is something I work very hard to cultivate in myself. Transitions are hard for all kids to varying degrees and I've found that the more calm and steady I can be, the sooner they can regulate. I also do my best to stay educated in the newest data on child development and how to best support these tiny humans. As a parent, my main priority is building a healthy attachment and supporting my son's learning. We love reading books and finding fun new ways to play with his toys. He's also very active and loves climbing! I would love to know your parenting focus and how I can support you! We also love walks and playing outside.
