About Kailea

Hi! I'm Kailea, a California girl turned Northwest Arkansas girl! I grew up out West, where I spent my winters on the slopes, and now I call NWA home. Wherever I've lived, kids have always been a big part of my life. As the oldest of three sisters, I grew up helping look after my younger sisters, and babysitting for family friends came naturally from there. For several winter seasons back in California, I coached skiing for 4–6 year olds. Teaching little ones to ski takes patience, encouragement, and constant attention to safety, and nothing beats watching a nervous kid make it down the hill with a huge smile. Since moving to Arkansas, I've been coaching soccer for a Northwest Arkansas soccer academy, working with kids ages 4–8. Coaching has taught me how to keep young kids engaged, bring energy and structure to a group, and celebrate every small win along the way. What I bring to your family: - Hands-on experience with preschool and elementary-age kids - A focus on safety, kindness, and clear communication with parents - Active, outdoor-loving energy: I'm always up for a park trip, backyard games, or teaching a new sport - A calm, reliable presence for homework, mealtimes, and bedtime routines I'm a University of Arkansas graduate with a degree in communications, and I love people and building real connections, with kids and with their parents. I believe great babysitting relationships are built on trust, so I keep parents in the loop with updates and follow your family's rules and routines. Right now I'm in an exciting season of figuring out my next career steps, and spending time with kids has always been something that brings me joy and keeps me grounded.
