About Kelsey

Hi! I'm Kelsey, a Spring 2024 graduate from the University of Alabama. I am currently on a new journey to become a pediatric oncology nurse! My passion for nurturing has led me to diverse experiences in childcare, including roles as a nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, and nursery caretaker. My professional childcare journey began in 8th grade at church, and since then I have worked with children aged from 2 weeks to 16 years old. I'm CPR certified and playground safety certified. I have a deep love for children, animals, and giving back to my community through volunteering! I’m currently on the worship team for Ignite Church and in Spring 2023, I spent three months volunteering abroad in South Africa where I worked daily with abused children. I also had the privilege of supporting intellectually disabled populations as an academic and social mentor during undergrad, where I assisted students with diverse disabilities! This year I'm taking nursing classes at Pitt Community College and I'd love to contribute my skills and passion to your needs!
