Hi there! I graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South. I am majored in Economics and have a minor in business & politics. I previously taught English to adults through the non-profit ZEAL. I currently tutor elementary school students in English and Reading through IGNITE. I come from a big family, so I am experienced with taking care of younger children. I’m currently studying for law school admissions exam! I have worked previously in the Franklin area, and my hometown is about 40 minutes away! My name is Elena G and I am a junior at Rhodes College double-majoring in neuroscience and Spanish.A little info about me, I am pre-med, run cross country and track, lead a club that hosts track practices for Memphis children with autism, and am the vice president of my Chi Omega sorority.I have always loved working with children. I want to be a family practitioner and this summer I spent eight weeks as a Church Health intern, developing preventative health strategies for children ages six weeks to twelve years. I have babysat for six years for children of all ages. Furthermore, I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for four summers working closely with children from low-income communities.
