This fall, I’ll be attending South Dakota State University to study Pediatric Nursing—a path I chose because of my deep love for working with children and the joy they bring into my life. I have over six years of babysitting experience, caring for children of all ages through family, family friends, and community connections. During my junior and senior years, I worked as a classroom aide in a 2nd-grade classroom and participated in my school's elementary mentoring program for three years.
