One of my most memorable working experiences was with a family where I was looking after a two year old. The family had just moved from Ukraine and wanted me to help their child with learning English as well as with helping around the house and looking after them. It was so enjoyable and encouraging to see him grow with each time I was over. I utilized toys like counting blocks, books, and a toy cash register to learn new words and concepts like counting.

My name is Ajuné, I'm 23, and I'm a student at Cornell University. I'm majoring in Psychology in order to become a clinical child psychologist. I have a lot of experience as a babysitter, nanny, and preschool assistant teacher. I've always been great with younger children and have felt like they gravitate towards me. Their sweet, innocent energy makes me feel at peace.
