From a young age my passion for kids has always been strong. I started babysitting when I was just 12 years old taking care of my baby cousin after school. He quickly became my pride and joy and I still babysit him and his two brothers today. One of them has autism and the youngest has Down syndrome but I have always found ways to connect with them. After working as a lead twos teacher at La Petite Academy I realized that I wanted to pursue a career working with children. I am currently studying to become a Child Therapist and I will be graduating with my Bachelor's degree in December before continuing on to earn my Master's.
