Hey! I’m a senior at UMD. Outside of school hours, I give kids things to do afterschool before their parents come pick them up in the evening. I have tutoring experience with grades 1-5 and middle school. I love to challenge the kids I work with to think independently and learn skills. As a sitter, I try my best for longterm clients to keep children engaged in activities. I have taught some older ones (11-12) how to play games like mancala and even chess. I’m interested in circuits with my studies and I am more than happy to assist with any math or reading homework. Overall, I like to hear from them how to best keep engagement during our time together.
