I have been working at a daycare for the past two years as a floating teacher, floating through classroom ages infantsthrough school age, and as an assistant preschool and twos teacher. I love watching kids grow and use their imaginations to create. I also am in college as an elementary education major, now in my second sequence of the program. I have been completing filed work hours in a Kindergarten classroom and have over 58 hours of experience there. Due to my college education I have been taking courses in LLA, EDEL, and SPED, so I am being taught the foundations of language and literacy support and teaching for all students, including students with IEPs and 504s. However, my experience as a daycare teacher has allowed me to learn how to properly care for children of all ages, including diaper changes, lunch and snack times ( bottle feeding too!), nap time, etc. I am excited to be a nanny!
