Hii! My name is Stephanie and I am a 21 year-old college student studying to get my degree in legal studies. I grew up as the oldest child in my family, constantly caring and looking after for my two younger sisters. I’ve always had a genuine love for children and caring for others. Growing up with younger sisters, I was very involved in helping my parents care for and raise them, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to make children feel safe, loved, and understood. I truly enjoy spending time with kids, whether that means playing board games, helping with homework, prepping their food, tucking them to bed, or even just simply conversing with them. I’m someone who puts a lot of heart into everything I do, and when I’m caring for someone else’s children, I want nothing but the best for them. I have not babysat, however I was a overnight camp counselor for YMCA Camp Campbell in the summer of 2024 where I would watch up to 17 kids aged 7-12 at a time with either another counselor or on my own. I have lifeguarded the past two summers where I have taught water safety and swim lessons to kids ages 3-12. I am CPR and AED certified, and have experience in basic wound care and life saving care.
