Hello! I am Carlye Schmidt, I will be the Pre-1 teacher this year. This is a brief letter about myself. I was born in Oklahoma City, and moved to Wetumpka when I was 16 years old. I attended Montgomery Catholic, where I graduated from high school. At Auburn University, I went on to receive my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, and I minored in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies. Before working at Grace Pointe, I worked for the YMCA Camp Chandler as a summer day camp counselor. Currently, I am a pre-1 teacher! I’m looking for extra babysitting opportunities.

Hi parents! Im new to this app and am hoping to be able to help you and your family. I graduated from Auburn University in August 2020 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I moved up to Birmingham in February 2021 and started working for a non-profit organization called Magic Moments. We grant wishes to children with chronic life threatening illnesses who live in the state of Alabama. I have babysat and/or worked in a childcare setting since I was 15 years old caring for a wide variety of children. The youngest being just 3 weeks old. I think it is so important that you have a sitter who is active and engaged with your children and I am just that person. I love playing outside and really getting to build relationships with the children and families I babysit for. I am happy to help with homework or house work (laundry, cleaning, dishes, etc) as well.
