Hi! My name is Alex, or you can call me AJ, and I am a junior at The University of Alabama. I’m currently earning a B.S. in Psychology with two minors in Human Development & Family Studies and Neuroscience. I fell in love with child care after working as a summer camp counselor in my hometown the summer of 2024, and since then I have taken part in several different volunteer opportunities involving child care! Hi! I’m destiny and I currently work as a substitute teacher and babysitter! I recently worked as a preschool teacher/ floater for ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. I have been working with children for 3 years now, where I started off as a kindergarten teachers aide. My experience with older kids comes from when I worked as an after school/summer teacher for 5-12 year olds during my time as a teachers aide. I am also first aid, cpr certified, and fluent in ASL! I am not able to drive as of right now, but I have reliable transportation to and from work.
