Hello y’all! I am the oldest child out of six siblings so caring for the little ones was always a gift that was given to me from an early age. Everyone would say I was the kid “magnet” at every event but I think it came naturally from practically raising my siblings. I began to work as a babysitter in high school not only watching over my siblings but the kids around our neighborhood and even my teachers relatives who have hired me to watch over their children and practice theSpanish language with them. I have also assisted as a travel sitter while families attend events. Once I moved to Lubbock for College I began to work at First Lubbock, Childcare Center I work with all ages. To me it is amazing I get to do what I love while also attending University. I am back in Amarillo and hope I get the opportunity to do what I love throughout the summer. I was born in Amarillo, TX later on my family moved to Friona, Texas a small friendly community which is where I graduated high school just last year and while in high school I attended South Plains College and completed my Associates Degree in General Studies right out of high school. This school year was my first year at Texas Tech University. I plan to pursue my career in Speech Pathology at the Texas Tech Health Sciences center this upcoming semester.
