Hello! My name is Minerva (but those closest to me know me as Minny). I’m a young professional who has strong passion for equitable access to music education. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and young adults of all backgrounds. Currently, I work as a music teacher and primarily work with students in grades 9-12. My pre-service experience outside of the classroom includes teaching group swim lessons to littles (ages 2-6), private swim lessons for adults and working with children between the ages of 3-12 at an educational camp for 3 summers. I would consider myself to be attentive, patient, energetic and feel comfortable working with neurodivergent individuals! While I do spend a good chunk of my time involved with music, I enjoy time outdoors (kayaking, hiking, biking), live music, shared meals, watching my favorite sports teams, catching a comedy show, and working out.
