Hi! My name is Jamie, and I’m a 27-year-old educator who recently moved to Houston this August. I have always loved working with children and feel incredibly lucky that my career has allowed me to make a positive impact on their lives both inside and outside the classroom. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Westminster College and went on to receive my Master’s in Education from Vanderbilt University. I also spent four years teaching first grade at St. Henry’s Elementary School in Nashville, where I gained extensive experience caring for, teaching, and connecting with young children. Before and throughout my teaching career, I also nannied during college, giving me years of hands-on experience working with children in a home setting.
