Hi- My name is Paige. I am originally from NC and am new to Nashville! I graduated from Elon University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. I previously worked as a self-contained special education teacher at an elementary school in Charlotte, NC. I am outgoing, creative, and love working with kids! I have worked with children of a variety of ages, from infants to middle schoolers, in childcare and classroom settings. I have been babysitting regularly since I was 13. I have also worked as a summer day camp counselor for 5 summers and tutored in an after school program at the YMCA for two years. I student taught in a K-2 classroom for students with autism and in a 4th grade class. I have been a registered behavior technician and have worked with students in an ABA therapy center. As a first year college student who has never once lived in a city until now, I am just finding out about all of the opportunities available to me. Taking care of children has always been one of my absolute favorite things to ever do; I am extremely grateful this platform has given me the opportunity to seek out gigs that do not ever feel incredibly tedious to me, or even like a a job at all. I love interacting with children in all types of ways including tutor-like skills when necessary. In high school, I lived in one very small town where I had begun to offer piano lessons to our community, and that was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever experienced. Along with childcare, I am happy to provide any tutoring services if they are needed as well as piano and/or vocal lessons if you may also be seeking services like those!
