Hey! I’m a 19 year old student athlete at UTC. I love the joy kids have and being able to positively care for them and love on them. People say I’m a kid at heart, but I also know how and when to tell someone no. I want the kids to have fun whenever I’m there, but my first priority is for the parents to feel comfortable with me taking care of their child.

Hi families! I have experience with children ages newborn-high school, including children with special needs, developmental disabilities, behavioral issues, and various learning disabilities. Hello! I recently graduated UTC with my bachelors in psychology and am looking to babysit in my spare time before I move states for my masters program! My minor is in sociology but I do have a few adolescent development and early child development courses under my belt! I like to incorporate the knowledge I have from these courses through age-appropriate activities that foster creativity and development! Play is incredibly important for many aspects of development! While not with children, I do have experience in coordinating recreational activities: this was for two groups of dementia patients within an assisted living community. I will state up front I have no formal professional experience with children, however my older sister has three kids (8, 12, and 18) that I have grown up alongside and had a decent hand in caring for.Out of personal preference and comfort, I will not sit for children under 18 months old. I am pet friendly! I have fur babies of my own and am very experienced with any additional pet care that may come along with a job. Prior to starting a job, I have standard questions I will ask you so that I can get a thorough understanding of expectations, boundaries, and just so that we’re both on the same page in general! I tutored children and peers in high school and fostered pets for most of my life. When I’m not in class, I enjoy spending time outdoors, getting coffee with friends, paddling boarding, and attending church services and bible studies on campus!
