While most of my time has been spent in a preschool setting (0-5-year-olds), I have also spent 2 years working in an after school program at a K-8th grade school. I have gained experience in assisting children with special needs and have recently been re-certified in CPR & first aid. I believe that each child has their own unique set of needs and I acknowledge that a one-size-fits-all approach is not equitable for every child. My aim is to meet these unique needs while helping them develop essential skills, including conflict resolution/communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
